Often, individual therapy can be a valuable place to turn in moments of crisis, when you’re feeling stuck, or if you’re experiencing feelings or symptoms that concern you like anxiety or depression. This can be a place to achieve concrete goals, and it also can serve as a supportive environment to explore aspects of your experience or personal history. I typically weave together elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and Emotion-Focused Therapy to help my patients deeply understand their thoughts and feelings, process their emotional reactions, develop stronger mechanisms of coping with difficulties, and feel more empowered in their day-to-day experiences.
I typically provide weekly, 50-minute sessions to address your goals and concerns, but session frequency and length can vary based on your needs.
