Individual Therapy

Often, individual therapy can be a valuable place to turn in moments of crisis, when you’re feeling stuck, or if you’re experiencing feelings or symptoms that concern you like anxiety or depression. This can be a place to achieve concrete goals, and it also can serve as a supportive environment to explore aspects of your experience or personal history. I typically weave together elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and Emotion-Focused Therapy to help my patients deeply understand their thoughts and feelings, process their emotional reactions, develop stronger mechanisms of coping with difficulties, and feel more empowered in their day-to-day experiences.

I typically provide weekly, 50-minute sessions to address your goals and concerns, but session frequency and length can vary based on your needs.

Couples Therapy

Couples may turn to therapy if they find themselves becoming easily escalated in arguments, or they may not be fighting at all but notice that they’re perpetually disconnected. Couples may also seek therapy in times of difficulty, such as grief, fertility challenges, or after infidelity. My style of couples therapy will help you reflect on the underlying emotional patterns that are arising and then find new ways to relate to each other — the ultimate goal is finding a deeper, more authentic connection that will allow you to navigate life’s difficulties as a partnership. I have extensive training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples, and I am a Certified EFT Therapist.

I offer 60-minute weekly therapy sessions for couples, but session frequency and length can vary based on your needs.
